File Format and File Transfer
 

·      Bideas prefers high resolution jpeg files, flattened PSD file, PDF file, Corel Draw, EPS file.

·      To keep your file size small, please set image size to 100% of actual printing size and the dpi to 70dpi for large format printing (banner, large stickers) and 100dpi for brochures and other printing materials.

·      It is advisable to check the image for clarity at 100% before sending it to us for printing. If artwork is not done by Bideas, we are not responsible for any blur images/ icons provided to us by our clients.

·      Please provide your artwork and design files in CMYK format. Please note that the conversion of RGB to CMYK may cause some colour to change significantly. Bideas is not responsible for any colour change due to the conversion for printing purposes. The colour you view on-screen is based on RGB format and not CMYK format. Furthermore, on-screen colours vary greatly due to monitor brand and contrast and brightness settings and other possible technical differences.

Ways to transfer:
1) Gmail (www.gmail.com) is able to send and receive files attachment up to 20MB.
2) If your file is bigger than 20MB or if you are unable to send us the file through GMAIL, please kindly use www.yousendit.com to transfer the files to us. Please kindly ask Bideas Team how to do so if you are unsure how to go about it.
3) If you cannot use YouSendIt to transfer the files to us, you may also SKYPE or MSN us the files for printing/ designing.
4) Save your design into a CD/ Thumb-drive and visit us at our office. If necessary, we can arrange for logistic for you at a very affordable fee for the delivery of your artwork.
